Involved in the scheme are retirement homes specialists Girling. Managing Director Peter Girling says: "We believe that UK residents wishing to retire to Gibraltar will be reassured by the presence of a UK based company who are members of the Association of Retirement Housing Managers." And trade and industry minister Peter Montegiffo backs the idea, saying Gibraltar has a great deal to offer the British retired market.
